Refreshed identity for an ever-growing henna artist
Immersed in learning about South Asia’s rich heritage, emotive classical music, stunning fabrics and jewels, GG Mendhi has taken inspiration and applied it to her henna art.
Since 2014 GG Mendhi has been using a dated design that no longer fit with her direction and business tone and was in need of an update that portrayed her story.
This modern brandmark has been devised to represent Indian heritage from Gugan’s travels to India, designing and incorporating elements from historic art at famous landmarks.
The colour tones were carefully chosen to represent the earthy tones of henna itself along with the heritage it has come from.
Together, these compliment the visual language that modernises GG Mendhi’s aesthetic by introducing colour, texture, layout and styles that provide the brand with an elegant feel.
Having this graphic system provides the identity with the flexibility, allowing it to sit on any medium with a strong presence.
