Bytestock
A refreshed visual identity for one of Europe’s largest stockists of refurbished IT hardware
Bytestock is the B2B e-commerce arm of one of Europe’s largest stockists of new and refurbished IT hardware (LA Micro Group Ltd) and have been supplying bespoke solutions to corporations across the world for over 15 years.
Designing a refreshed identity for an already existing IT business meant bringing it up-to-date as a sub-division company of LA Micro Group Ltd.
To begin the project, we put together the ideal target audience – age range, their business sector and job title. The concept hinged on designing an identity that was not only different to competitors but also executing at a higher level.
During the design phase, many iterations of visual styles were explored. The aim was to create a style that was clean, simple and used colours that stood out across on all mediums and still remained ‘tech’ orientated. The final palette used a range of blue and orange tones to achieve this.
Creating a library containing over a hundred isometric illustrations gave Bytestock a unique place within the market. Making them distinguishable against their competitors on print and digital collateral.
